LIQUID CRYSTAL forms a thick but invisible layer, ultra-durable, high gloss, and 9H hardness on the paint of the vehicle, thus creating a strong protection against bird debris, abrasive chemicals, contaminants, stains from hard water, and dirt. Up to 5 years if it is applied and maintained correctly.
Its chemical structure is resistant to a PH from 2 to 12 and can withstand temperatures from -30C to + 250C. In addition, its hydrophobic effect ensures a self-cleaning behavior that facilitates the removal of contaminants that are difficult to remove and hard water stains.
The best method of application is to apply Liquid Crystal and then use the Liquid Crystal Sealer. This method and process of applying the Liquid Crystal products ensures a high gloss, long-lasting protection against swirls, scratches in the paint, contaminants, and dirt, and preserves the appearance and value of your car for years to come. Liquid Crystal Maintenance should be applied every 6 months to keep your car looking new and the layers of Liquid Crystal looking like it was just applied.
Wax may last a few weeks, whereas Liquid Crystal may protect your vehicle for up to 5 years!.
Liquid Crystal is not a wax, it is not a waterless wash and was made for those that want a quality product with NO GIMMICKS. There is no "grape" or "watermelon" smell, after-all I am sure you are not going to eat your coating. The application process is easy, quick, and will last from 3-5yrs. 20-25ml will coat the average size car.
You may use Liquid Crystal on the solid surfaces of your vehicle, like glass, paint, and plastic. Typically used on cars, trucks, motorcycles, RVs, and boats. It is important to properly wash your vehicle before and we suggest paint decontamination using a Clay Bar. For those individuals who have not used a clay bar, AquaShield has an easy to use clay bar and may be purchased here. The key to keeping your paint protected and shining for a long time to come is by properly preparing the surface and our Speed Clay Bar will help you do that.
Water spots are painful to see and in some cases difficult to remove, so the idea is to not allow them to deposit on your vehicle in the first place. Liquid Crystal will stop 95% of all water spots from accumulating on your vehicle's paint. If you have water spots already on your paint, please remove them using a water spot remover, and then decontaminate your vehicle's paint as suggested using the AquaShield Ultimate Clay Bar. Paint Shield will prevent up to 95% of the high calcium/ mineral/ water deposits from settling on your vehicle’s paint surface which causes water spots to form, but if there is any hard water sitting on the surface, it should be cleaned off immediately and not be allowed to dry as much as possible.
